Indications for Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is recommended in the following cases:

• excess skin of the upper or lower eyelids
• under-eye fat pads (“eye bags”)
• wrinkles and decreased skin elasticity in the periocular area
• heavy or “hooded” eyelids
• visual field impairment (in cases of upper eyelid ptosis)
